Good song

This song's really useful for scenes, especially when one of those side characters are introduced- using it would kind of mold that character into a cool one- even if they actually aren't :P

Feninja responds:

I agree! A song made for side characters by...me. But yeah loops are good for scenes in games. for when you want to maintain that feeling. most of my songs here are mostly BGM anyway so I'm just happy one was used. Love the game by the way, big thumbs up on the humor. d^^b

Quiet Ambiance

It's like the sound of silence- if that makes any sense. Nothing's happening, but the area gives you an eerie sort of feeling. Perfect for some sort of desolate wasteland or abandoned civilization, or anything else empty but eerie. Perfect for background music- non-obtrusive by it's very nature.

Thanks dude! Can't wait to play your game!

Great work

No review yet, huh? Let me change that. The beginning is piano with a great surreal backing, and it's not until much later at about 1:10 where a solid beat starts coming in. Then it gives way for a different type of piano rhythm, and it gently grows in intensity, never entirely losing its surreal feeling. Personally, I like the first 1:10- that section of the song is the reason I chose it for my game. By contrast, I think the synths later in make the song lose its classical feel a bit, but I've never been a big genre enforcer and I don't plan to start being one. Anyway, you've got something very nice here.

Thanks! Hope everything is going alright with the game. Send me a message when it's uploaded, I 'll be glad to check it out.

Amazing work

Ok, so I said to myself I would review all the songs I am using for my game, but obviously I put it off for a while :P Anyway, DnB is one of my favorite genres, but I was kinda doubtful I could fit a song in the genre into a text heavy RPG- it just lacks that kind of action most of the time. However, that was until I heard this. I knew I could fit in into the end boss run somewhere, and it didn't actually go to the final boss, but their right-hand men. The song is sufficiently evil for the part, and makes the fight more exciting. I like the off-beat instrument in the beginning (whatever it is :P) that contributes a feeling of uneasiness and tension.

Nice job on the #18 score rank- it deserves it.

I would love to know when it is done! I LOVE to see what people can do with my tunes.

Great easy listening

Man, what can I say about this song? The piano really helps bring out the piece, and the guitar melody really suits it well- you can barely tell the difference if you're just casually listening. Overall, a really soft and sometimes even delicate piece- perhaps too much so for General Rock, but that's just being picky.

roensb responds:

I hate putting something as misc. and its not really jazz so this was the best place to put it in my opinion but thanks for the review man!

A perfect seaside tune

This song sounds (well, to me anyway) at once laid-back yet with the air of something still going on- perhaps not quite out at sea but at a busy seaside town or harbor with a slightly fantasy-like feel. The instruments blend together well and the different parts of the piece transition seamlessly. This track is definitely deserving of a 'masterpiece collection', and a 10.

ChaotixMachine responds:

I'm glad you liked it! :)

Thanks for the comment!
